honestly, am not convinced * flip-off on Jay Leno was the middle finger.

Flame me, but I think it could be a pen. I looked at the video on Randi's site, and the reason why I think it could be a pen in a fist is that it has a slightly different (more luminous) color composition than the back of his hand.

It's still a bird and he is still a jerk.

2. The only reason I think it is the shaft...
rather than a thumb or pen, is that McClellan nor anybody else has said otherwise. They just deny the whole incident.

Also we know from his time as governor that smirk-boy must like that gesture.

I really can't tell from the video.
