Bush Vs. Armstrong: Famously Competitive Texans Taking Their First Ride
http://ap.tbo.com/ap/breaking/MGB0UDDYKCE.html

CRAWFORD, Texas (AP) - It's not clear whether Lance Armstrong will have to abide by the standard rules for biking with President Bush when the two famously competitive Texans take their first ride together Saturday.

The first rule: Don't pass the president.

"Do not force the president too hard," Bush instructed a handful of journalists who rode with him last weekend. "Be kind."

Armstrong, the seven-time winner of the Tour de France, has been generous in his praise of Bush's biking skills - to a point. He says there's no way the president will be able to take him.

1. Waste him, Lance
It'll TOTALLY piss him off, since he's such a slave to fitness. (Kinda Aryan of him ... )

4. I am surprised Lance

11. Yeah, and he KNOWS how competitive Chimpy is ...
He hates to lose ANY contest related to fitness. He may be able to fix elections, but he can't fix this ... and I hope Lance just totally blows him away (AND RIDES TO CAMP CASEY!).

6. Shrub sure loves the sound of his own voice --
-- calling himself the president. Like a diabolical five-year-old running around saying "See, I'm the preznit!"

12. You could put
W on the lightest road bike ever and Lance on a huffy bmx and he would stil blow *'s doors off..........

I doubt * produces more than 100 watts let alone Lance's 400+.

Edited on Fri Aug-19-05 07:27 PM by steve2470
Q They're going to be biking entirely within the confines of the ranch. Is that true?

MS. PERINO: That's my understanding, yes.
