I got a WAY better job working in the IT field and only have one more month of school left, I need my weekends free.

9. Took some paid vacation before I leave them though
So I could work at my job that pays exactly 4 times as much in two weeks than what I worked 70 hours in two weeks to get. And free health care, cheap good dental, and mileage reimbursement.

8. Congratulations! I've watched my son go through something similar.
He's out of that situation now and back in IT. We talk about the pressure of having to always be looking for the next job.

He also worked for a school district here, and talk about political PATRONAGE and NEPOTISM!!!!

13. Cool!
Tim's only been on the job a couple of days. He's provisioning for Sprint, I like that for him because it is closer to the hardware, still on contract, but Sprint is making its move on the market, so they're saying it's going to be a long contract.
