This is all that made the weekly alternative paper which came out yesterday (Thursday), the pic was taken Sunday Aug 14, day 2 of Camp Casey, Chico. Didn't get much coverage as the deadline is Friday for the next week's paper. Hope to see better coverage next Thursday.
Turnout for the candlelight vigil on Wednesday was about 300!!! I still haven't found the piece needed for me to upload pics from my camera, so more pics will have to wait. I am not Ada, but I am drinking coffee!

War protestor Ada Cochrane (front) sips a cup of coffee Sunday morning at a 24-hour vigil in support of Cindy Sheehan being held in Children's Park near downtown. Sheehan is a grieving mother whose son was killed in Iraq and who is camping out near President Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, vowing to stay until she is granted an audience with the president. Bush has said he will not meet with Sheehan. Camps in support of Sheehan, called "Camp Caseys" after her fallen son, have been springing up across the country.
