Who The In The Hell is Melanie Morgan?

While going through the TV stations I happen upon a replay of Hardball
and this shrew of a woman named Melanie Morgan was on there promoting her Cindy doesn't speak for me tour, or some such nonsense. I assume that Melanie is an ex-GI herself and has served during a time of war so she knows exactly what the military and their families are going through and that is how she can personally determine for others just who Ms. Sheehan speaks for and who she doesn't.

I mean surely Ms Morgans love of country and military meant that she herself served and was only too glad to sacrifice her children to the cause of freedom around the world or else she wouldn't be condemning those who did sacrifice their children... right?.:sarcasm:

Go to the above link and read the bios of Melanie and her cohorts. They sound like they were written by a 10th grader. "Melanie shows off her wit and intellect..."

Then go over to the "art exhibit." Here you will see depictions of people who have literally wrapped themselves in the flag by making the flag their clothing. Please. Tell me. What is so artistic about making a pair of overalls out of the flag?

Clever. Bet no one ever thought of that before.

You will also see this radio station promotes the demonizing of liberals at its "art exhibit" by flying banners that say "liberalism is a mental disorder."

This is seriously aberrant.

I believe she is radio talk show host. Funny how she made blanket accusations against Cindy and when confronted by Dick Gregory said she never said that. Kinda like Limbaugh recently. And she's "just sick and tired of the media ignoring the conservative voice." Pahleeeze.
Why these people feel compelled to go to Texas to get in Cindy's face is beyond me. Such a snotty pain in the rear.

I am sure you are correct. It would never occur to a person of conscience like Melanie to presume a stance on the military when she herself has not experienced military life. This would cause credibility problems and I'm sure she would never put herself in that position. She would not want to look foolish.

Being the humble, modest person that she is, I am also sure it would never occur to Melanie to talk of her past military experiences. I think, therefore, that we must come to her aid and let everyone know about her days in the service of our country. Maybe Randi Rhodes could interview her about this and they could talk about the good old days in the service of our proud country.

Why is it that wanting to bring the troops home is interpreted as a lack of support for them and a lack of patiotism? It must be some skewed way of thinking. Clearly, bringing them hop is supporting their "right to life, liberty and happiness".

You know, I remember thinking that this was one pathetic, selfish human being. Usually I don't think that after these portraits but in that one I did. I had no sympathy for this woman whatsoever. The things she did were an outrage.
