Should Bush meet with pro-War Demonstrators in Crawford?
Edited on Sat Aug-20-05 12:20 PM by Armstead
He could show some real compassion and nerve by meeting with the pro-war military families and demonstrators traveling to Crawford.

1. It does not matter anymore
If he meets with them, we win. If he doesn't meet with them, we win.

A movement has started. We have the attention of the entire country. It doesn't matter who the prez meets with at this point.

:woohoo:

2. he should but he won't
I don't think he's psychologically able to relate to people, and his encounters have to be carefully managed to include only supporters. I think if he met with Cindy and other protestors, his dark side would be exposed for all the world to see.

4. Absolutely
He should toss the football around with them. Laugh and chuckle and cavort with his supporters. Let them know that by god regardless of how many Cindy Sheehans crawl out of the woodwork he will see to it that our kids continue to get killed in Iraq - that's just what his supporters want. He can autograph yellow magnets. He can pass out purple heart bandaids and make fun of the sacrifices of our troops. In other words he can be a classic conservative American.
