I understand that Chimpy is going on an Iraq-a-palooza tour
to defend the war in Iraq.

3. This is the mayor of Salt Lake City?
>>>Salt Lake City Mayor Rocky Anderson called for "the biggest demonstration this state has ever seen" to protest President Bush's appearance Monday before a national veterans convention.
"This administration has been disastrous to the country," Anderson said Friday. "If people could organize and speak out in an effective manner from the reddest state in the country, that would garner a lot of attention." <<<

6. So the Mayor of Salt Lake City is both
scheduled to make the opening remarks at the convention where Geroge is to kick off his tour

"Anderson, who is scheduled to make welcoming remarks to the conventioneers, says veterans will understand. "The veterans of foreign wars are heroes in my view. To stand up against government misconduct is in no way expressing a lack of support for those who defend our country."

and he is calling for major demonstrations composed of

"a collaboration of health-care-provision advocates, seniors, the community, anti-Patriot Act advocates and other civil libertarians, anti-war folks, pro-Social Security advocates, environmental advocates, anti-nuclear-testing advocates, and anti-nuclear-waste-shipment-and-storage advocates," the mayor wrote in the e-mail."

This is unbelievable. And it is in Salt Lake City. This guy rocks.

8. This is the last place on earth
I'd expect this to happen, with the possible exception of Texas (althjough it's notable that the first paper to carry Cindy Shhehan's story was the local Crawford paper, the Iconoclast).

The ongoing, stubborn stupidity of Bush's supporters, especially veterans who are daily getting anally gang-banged by this administration, never ceases to amaze me. This disconnect, this lack of cognitive skill is something that I'd hitherto only suspected in serial killers and other sociopaths.

4. The Death, Destruction and Despair Tour
You Conservatives want our kids to die in Iraq. You conservatives sent me to the white house. Then so be it. I have a mandate from you to continue getting our kids killed in Iraq. Followed by raucous and loud applause that goes on and on. DEATH, DEATH, DEATH.

7. Well, the American public
outside of all those Town Hall meetings basically ignored George and his personal account Social Security scam. What makes him think we won't ignore him again here?
