Bill Maher's show last night had a very important message

when the two republican neocons were being questioned about Iraq, one of them was very quick to point out that "even Hillary" thought we should have more troops in Iraq

This tells me one thing, if the democrats choose someone in 2008 who voted for the war in Iraq, this will be thrown right back at them

Paul Hackett said it best, it is too late to recover from this mistake, and we should get out of there as soon as possible

It took a bit longer than I hoped for Dem candidates to see the handwriting on the wall. But i am glad to see it finally happening.

Now, for 2008, the war appeasers will really have to answer a lot of brutal questions, but that goes for the Puggies too.

last night. The problem is that few dems didn't vote against the war in Iraq because they were LIED to. The dems need to start really drilling this point home...that this administration crafted and fomented serious LIES to lead our elected officials, republicans included, to allow * to lead this nation into war.

but most telling was when brent scrowcroft, and other members of the first bush administration warned it was NOT wise to go into Iraq, that should have signaled major red flags

8. Yes, they were lied to, but they were also told the truth by many credible

people in positions to know the truth. The pro-war dems made their choices and decisions for whatever reasons, but whatever they were, they were as wrong as wrong could be, and these people should not be re-elected, let alone promoted to president.

war are few and far between, unfortunately, and don't fall into what the "party" line is right now. Hey, even I could see through the lies, and all I had for information was what the BFEE decided to let me have. Personally, I worked very hard on the Dean campaign in 2004.

9. Russ Feingold is looking good

for a number of reasons: Rhodes Scholar, graduated with honors from Harvard Law, he voted against the Patriot Act, voted against NCLB, voted against going to war in Iraq - but voted for the $87 billion once we were in there. He nailed it before the war started - he said the rational for going to war keeps shifting - when everyone else got suckered in, he knew they were being deceptive.
