Shelby following the party talking points

We don't know what happened, let's give the DoJ a chance to do their job.

Pretty shameful, considering the national security breach.

1. They need to get Novak off the air
because he is doing nothing less than falsifying the record.

2. Didn't he change chairmanships?
Wasn't he the Intelligence Chairman just a while back and now he's Banking? Is this normal churn or was he too frank about the Intelligence lapses surrounding 9/11?

4. Shelby had egg on his face because of 9/11
He had just come from a tour of the Middle East and was quoted saying, "We have Osama on the run." That was either three weeks or a few months prior to 9/11. (I can't remember exactly) I don't know why people don't investigate him. How can a person get to ground zero (middle east) just before 9/11 and not hear a whisper of trouble?

By the way, the quote is recorded in the Washington Post archives.
