Local Model Disappears From Area Bar

REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio -- A Reynoldsburg woman has been missing for nearly a week. Now her family is offering a reward for information that brings her home, NBC 4's Mike Bowersock reported.

Julie Popovich was last seen Thursday night at Ledo's on North High Street. According to a police report, friends saw her get into a car with someone they thought she knew.

Popovich is a model and she works at a Reynoldsburg Max and Erma's restaurant.

Her family is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to her return. She was described as 5 feet 11 inches tall , weighing 104 pounds.

The News networks will USE anyone, to sell their products. They are the ones to blame for trying to come up with the "big story" and they don't give a damn who it hurts! For instance, the cameras in people's faces at a gravesite. The media has nobody left with a soul anymore!

I found out yesterday this is my Co-workers stepdaughter, this is devastating our workplace.

You can slam the media for their reporting or whatever, but slamming the girl is out of line.

not this young woman or her family :)

And she is not off on a job or anything like that...unfortunately, this is a young lady who "checked in" regularly...it appears she may have made a terrible decision that may have cost her and her family dearly. She was a regular vistor to our fire station (she is the step-daughter of a fireman, her mother is a nurse).

Unfortunately also, due to the missing person laws, she was not able to be actually declared a missing person for several days even though her absence was totally out of character for her. Her family had private detectives on it right away, and we learned Friday that, even though she has not been found, homicide has now taken the case and is actively investigating.

19. You know, I posted to one individual here, but I am going to address the

entire thread because I see some (not all) SOME of you could not resist.

Save your anger for the media....personal attacks on this girl just suck. I agree that the media has issues with who they report on, how long they report on some things (too long when it is obvious what the outcome is, i.e. Aruba) or not enough (i.e. the young mom to be in Pennsylvania).

Remember, your problem is with the media, not the girl or her family. Oh, and since I know this young woman, and have since she was in kindergarten, she has always been a tall wispy thing.

For those of you who need to, go back and see how ugly your posts sound.
