Is george bush EVIL?
Edited on Sun Aug-21-05 05:41 AM by mopaul
Function: adjective
Inflected Form(s): evil·er or evil·ler; evil·est or evil·lest
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English yfel; akin to Old High German ubil evil
1 a : morally reprehensible : SINFUL, WICKED <an evil impulse> b : arising from actual or imputed bad character or conduct <a man of evil reputation>
2 a archaic : INFERIOR b : causing discomfort or repulsion : OFFENSIVE <an evil odor> c : DISAGREEABLE <woke late and in an evil temper>

the above description is fairly fitting i'd say. is bush just mischeivious, or is he truly evil?

2. Careless people from The Great Gatsby
"They were careless people, Tom and Daisy -- they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made"

A form of evil  ... I think so.

6. Thanks. It really epitomizes him on so many levels.
Across the spectrum of his life. Careless! and not concerned with the consequences of his actions upon others.

3. Mischievous would be when the result of the deeds a person...
...performs can be referred to and counted as naughtily or annoyingly playful.

George Bush's deeds are indeed evil as these can be referred to as reprehensible and can be counted in the over 1,863 U.S troops killed in action, the over 14,000 troops disabled and the over 125,000 dead innocent Iraqi women, children and elderly massacred in the name of freedom and Bush shows absolutely no remorse. That has to be truly evil.

5. He's a solid laughing mockery, mentally imbalanced, pompous quack....
He is no Stalin or Musilloni, he is a public mockery.

Is he evil? Is he mentally insane? Both? Far as I can tell, aside from doing evil things he is more a fruitcake, a bumbling coward who is not balanced and needs a psychiatrist badly.

How about Cheney?

Cheney's not insane at all, he is just positively corporate EVIL personified. Lets see, he sold his soul out to other countries profits off terrorism, destroys countries, takes their oil, and owns a double decker resort. Ahhh in his own words, the oil, whether wrong to take or not belongs to THEM.

But he's an evil son-of perdition who likes money....the root of all evil. Therefore he will wind up in purgatory, and his brethren such as Ariel Sharon or A.G. Khan will wind up beside him.

Well there's your answer.

7. yes... and I'll tell ya why (i'm sure you have some ideas on your own)
Because even though he is just a suit..... and the really evil people are people like Delay, Chaney, rove and many others....
He is still the PRESIDENT , and in the words of the sign on truman's desk:

THE BUCK STOPS HERE!!!!!
... he could change it all and he doesn't.

Why do you think that he doesn't meet PRIVATELY with private citizens the way every other US president has (even ray-gun)?

8. Is Collin Powell evil also?
I don't believe so. Powell is a sellout, but he is against all of this. Unlike Bush though Powell is not a pathetic cowardly fool so I have no idea why he doesn't stand out in public and shout against this war. Must be an interesting 'arrangement'...
