the editor is defending what Novak did and repeated the meme that Plame is "just" an analyst. Wolfie (surprised) said that she was an operative involved in espionage and slapped the guy down with that info. You could tell the editor is scared shitless!! And Wolfie would not let him slide any lies in there, I was a bit impressed with his questions to the editor. It was a very good interview.

I think they know they are in deep doodoo.

I agree, I posted a new discussion on this, but it sunk like a stone.

I think the media will realize it was set up - and will be a bit more suspicious of friendly phone calls.

The fact that 6 reporters can come forward and tell their very identical stories will make it hard for the WH/RW to claim the media is spinning the story.

In fact, Novak could have come out of this okay until yesterday when he backtracked.
