"Freepers": Our Constantly Missed Opportunity

It occurs to me that every time we refer to the extremists, the racists, the blowhards on Free Republic as "Freepers", we have blown an opportunity to frame discussion in our favor.

We should stop referring to them as freepers. They are "Free Republicans" and should be referred to as such.

Free REPUBLICANS. Why are we consistently negligence in taking advantage of the opportunity the name provides? We should emphasize the connection between them and the Republican party every chance we get.

Even I have enough respect for some Republicans and former Republicans
to not associated those folks with their party.

I'd rather reach out to sane Republicans and Libertarians.

Associating them with the political party actually lends them credibility they do not deserve. I like "Freeper." For me, this captures all the racism, homophobia, exonophobia, sexism, keyboard militance, religious paranoia, penis envy, and general fear/hatred of all things different in one descriptive term.
