My response to a hateful "American" at Crawford Peace House!

I'm registered at the Crawford Peace House Community blog and when I read this particular post---I HAD to respond. Here is the letter that prompted my response...

I DEMAND A MEETING!

Cindy,

I am the grieving son of a War Veteran and I DEMAND that you meet with me and explain why you think the war is immoral.

You are such a warm and caring person (which is clear from your EX-husband's recent actions) that I am SURE you will immediately put your life on hold, drop your roadside circus and show me the respect that I DEMAND!

I am on my way to camp out in front of your house in California and I am NOT leaving until you meet with me.

If you do have the guts to meet with me, once we conclude our historic confab, I will tell the media that you made me feel 'happy' and that 'its clear Cindy feels my pain'.

However, a few weeks later, I will change my story and I will DEMAND another meeting with you.

It is my right, damn it, because I am grieving. I may even get some right-wing groups to pay for my trailer, meals, etc. and I am sure they will supply me with a PR firm, assistants, foot massages and possibly some cold beers.

I look forward to getting together with you. Please have Michelle (in case you don't know, given the small army around you, she is one of your PR minions) give me a call.

You've obviously missed the point and let your hateful verbage get the best of you. This war was based on LIES! It's common knowledge by now. IMO, it doesn't really matter if you are a dem or a repub. A lie is a lie. Period. A coward is a coward. Period.

Something tells me that your true intention is not to meet with Cindy. You ridicule and mock her, yet I see NO HARD PROOF from you regarding the legitimacy of this illegal and immoral war. Sonofaveteran- you can berate and belittle until the cows come home, however- there is ONE IMPORTANT ELEMENT missing from your argument. That element is TRUTH.

Didn't she invite that when pro war sympathizers arrived and set up across from Camp Casey? That's when she met with that one father of a soldier killed in Iraq. I also would like to see more people in the Peace movement talk about and express their spirit based feelings.

If we can't do it, how will we ever find the Common Good this nation needs now more than ever?

My father was a war veteran, and I am grieving his passing. But my father is a WWII Vet, and he passed in 1991. I still grieve his passing.

Actually, I saw this on freerepublic the other day while looking for other info. They were all patting this fake on the back about what a great idea this would be.

He won't even use his real name, but only his freeper moniker. I guarantee you that if he used his real name, he would be found out to have fabricated the story of being a "grieving son of a war veteran." Something smells fishy. IF he lost a parent during a war, he would have said "my father fought and died in (insert war here)."
