hearts that know only a narcissistic world view; they can't see beyond the image of themselves in the mirror.
This article has a timely poignancy that, when read, can only be be viewed as a threat by those so frightened, whose egos need much stoking, that they rail against the sides of the box in which they've placed themselves. I feel sorrow for them.
I'm not religious in any way, but I do believe the spirit of one person, or many together, can alter the course of history, can change the current of the present.
Until those who believe they are so disenfranchised, who must wrap themselves in flag and country, have a life-changing event alter the stream of their daily lives, this nation will remain remain a people of fractured factions. This is all part of the plan, just as the current administration, and those Democrats who claim to represent us, would prefer this jagged landscape of global discord to remain for selfish political gain.
Eventually, one side or the other, pro-peace or pro-war, the roar of the people, will reach a watershed for this active discontent. After the chaos of that moment, there will have to be a lull, a temporary peace. I hope that moment is used wisely.
Meanwhile, I mourn for our nation, our people, and all the innocents who can no longer go on with their lives.
We all have a stake in the future of the United States. We are united in this concept regardless of our diverse cultures and views; We are the nation. -- Whoa_Nelly
