Please post your prediction for IRAQ - 2010.
Major civil war? 500,000 dead?

Same as today? 4 American Soldiers still dying a day (over 10,000 dead by then) and a struggle for a constitution?

Stable, democratic society with christian churches springing up daily?

Look into your crystal ball!

2. We are using the CIA to try and overthrow a regime that has
become way too friendly with the great satan Iran, and we are threatening to bomb them because there is word that their nuclear program is not just for "civilian use". Actually, I have come to know that nuclear weapons are for "civilian use" but that's another story for another time.

Someone named Cheney is involved with the intelligence being produced to prove that Iraq is an imminent threat, the rest of the story has already been written... just turn on your television, better yet, throw it out the window.

3. The MSM will say
Its all Clinton's fault
Its all Liberal Lies.

Meanwhile, Iraq will be in pieces, different splinter groups will be controlling different parts of Iraq, the US will still be there, helping helliburton earn billions, the US Death toll will be over way over ten thousand.

All the freepers will be saying how great is is, another country singer will do a song about how War takes time, and how much they love freedom and mama's apple pie.

5. I don't think the US will be in Iraq 2010
but Iran will have split up in several units (unless a new shiite "Saddam" shows up)

Too easy...

The Iraqi regime will be our enemy. Once again, we would have trained and armed our enemy.

7. President Hillary Clinton
Announces that the now 250,000 troops will soon begin to see victory against the 'insurgents.'

Although 28,000 american soldiers have been killed and 150,000 wounded, she and most democratic congresscritters say 'we can't afford to leave...and lose' and that 'victory is just around the corner'.

The republicans have begun impeachment proceedings against Hillary for treason, saying she has endangered US troops and mishandled the Iraq War which 'was going well under Bush'.

A yet unknown third party presidential candidate calling for an exit from Iraq has 55% approval rating and the dem and republican spin machine have joined forces trying to take him down before the 2012 election.

Oil is $5.50 a gallon. Unemployment is 15%, the deficit is over a trillion dollars, and few american travel abroad any longer because of the abuse heaped on them by those in other countries.

Patriot Act IV has just been passed to end political blogs which are seen as too divisive and which hurt the war on terrorism. Unpatriotic americans now meet in the woods clandestinely to discuss their discontent with the Demopublican government, which has finally merged openly and is about to be renamed the Patriot Party

10. Any way it is scary.
First, if * attacks Iran, we're in for it. I am very worried that not wanting to expend valuable troops, * will use the nuclear option to insure victory, arguing that the nukes were only tactical ones. Of course, this will likely result in a nuke retaliation by somebody and we'd be off to the races. At least there would be no more overpopulation problems.

If we can prevail in next year's midterms, * *will* be impeached along with a good portion of the upper echelon. That is the best scenerio. With President Pelosi, we'll have a sane person in charge. It's the only scenerio I can think of that is positive. If we don't accomplish this, we are in big poo-poo.

If * wins the midterms, I'm afraid that there's no hope for us. I can't think of any scenerio where the USA comes out unscathed.

If there is a massive terrorist attack, we're pretty much done for, either politically by something like martial law, or physically by * getting US into a global conflict.

I see nothing good in my crystal ball if the neocons remain in power. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

11. If we get out? Civil war. If we stay? Still wondering how to get out
Forget that place. Fighting of some sort will be going on in 3010, never mind 2010.

It's a bottomless pit.

12. Owned by Israel
And fought over still. Pakistan becomes the new US strategic point to keep a hand in the playing of the oil game. Now, not only China owns us economically, Israel holds more political sway over our fascist governmental decisions.
