The video seems genuine, but did it really take place in Oakland or some 3rd world country where this kind of shit is the norm?

4. I've seen shit like that happen

Beatdowns at keg parties and what not. Saw one guy get beatdown by about 30 kids for 10-15 minutes. They left him naked. His friends came and got him. That was a beat down.

I got beat down like that once when ten Latino kids ambushed us on Kissena Boulevard (Queens, NY) at like 3:30 in the morning. I fought back until I went down and they were all stomping me. Last thing I remember was looking up quick to my left and seeing a fist with brass knuckles coming. Next thing I remember, I was about 20 blocks away walking down a sidestreet. I must've blacked out, and walked all that distance in a daze. No memory of it at all. That was a nasty beating.

This isn't to say that I wasn't in groups that gave these kinds of beatings too. Won't talk about that. Ancient history, really.

This woman probably ended up with a lot of nasty bruises, and maybe needed a few stitches here and there, but I doubt she died or was even very seriously harmed. You'd be surprised at how these things shake out if you've never seen it happen.
