Carol Lin, CNN....can never figure out how to NOT come across improperly

when reporting a story. She can be telling the most sad tale possible, yet she is positively chirpy. Why she is still on this prime slot on weekends floors me. Then again, pretty much everything on TV news, cable or network - make that TV in general - floors me in its stupidity and vapidness (the CNN special that slammed the decision to go into Iraq similarly floored me - not that anything in it surprised me, but that they decided to show it at all!).

...is a solid second in the inappropritely chirpy department. I miss the Heidi Collins on the morning show. She's a solid anchor and kinda easy on the eyes too.
