Little Boots speech: the preview
Edited on Mon Aug-22-05 07:43 AM by Skidmore
My fellow Americans, we came, we saw, we conquered. People threw flowers and sweets at us and let us shut down a square to tear down a statue of the Tyrant. The world is safer because of what we did and we need to stay the course, because if we don't we won't be safer any more. We're fighting them over there so we won't have to fight them over here. The insurgents are just pouring of the borders from every Islamic state in the ME, and we all know that they hate us for our freedom. They hate us for our way of life. We need to stay the course and perhaps even change the course to move to other places to fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here. For example, Syria and Iran, where we know there are open borders and very likely nucular weapons. There's going to be a mushroom cloud if we don't stay the course.

We liberated the people of Iraq, and they are grateful. Did I mention that they threw flowers and sweets at us? We let them hold an election, and they got purple fingers. It was a great display of democracy in action. And they have a constitution--or will have by the time I finish talking. Those people are so grateful. They want to have a country like ours--where you are free to do anything you want as long as you don't offend the leader or blaspheme. We let their women vote and go to school. And now today, the men of that country are free to determine the place of women in that free society. If we stay the course, the Iraqis will have democracy like they never had before.

They love me over there. To them, I am Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, and Churchill in one person. They like Tony too. He's been a great ally and we've accomplished much. Only thing is the damned librul media just won't report the good news. They are only interested in killing my poll numbers.

2. ....And we must stay the course and ....
...complete the mission to honor those who already gave their Life for this great and noble cause of Freedom for the Iraqi people. We are saddened by the loss of Life and we mourn each and every one of our brave heroes - more will be killed and maimed, and be assured we will mourn each and every one of them too, but we must finish the job so the sacrifice of the Fallen will not have been in vain.....
