Are there actually 6500 members of the VFW in Salt
Lake City and could they all support the blivet? That's what the turnout is expected to be today.
MSNBC reporting there are protesters on every corner!

1. Blivet....what is that?
...Also, are the vets allowed in the auditorium where Bush is specking having to sign a loyalty oath before entering?

5. blivet=10#of shit in a 5#bag, my 'pet' name
blivet

/bliv'*t/ "ten pounds of manure in a five-pound bag"] 1. An intractable
problem.

2. A crucial piece of hardware that can't be fixed or replaced
if it breaks.

3. A tool that has been hacked over by so many incompetent
programmers that it has become an unmaintainable tissue of
hacks.

4. An out-of-control but unkillable development effort.

5. An embarrassing bug that pops up during a customer demo.

And I don't have a clue about anyone signing loyalty oaths, though I'm aware it's done whenever he's on the road.

6. definition of a blivet
BlivetFrom Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
This blivet is reminiscent of an M.C. Escher print—it portrays two impossible perspectives at once, creating a 'lost' layer between the top two rods, and an impossible extra, vanishing rod in between the bottom two.

The blivet is an undecidable figure, an optical illusion and an impossible object. It is an object that appears to have three cylindrical prongs, but at the base is only divided into two rectangular prisms: the top surface of the furthest prism becomes the furthest prong while the surface facing the viewer becomes empty space, and vice versa for the closer prism; the third, central prong is formed from the empty space between the prisms.

(Some also refer to two pounds of shit in a one pound bag as a blivet.)

4. I just had an experience with a local VFW, and they were great!!!
I needed some help for a local vet and they were extremely helpful. I was not given the impression that they supported Bush even a little bit. The guys I met with had nothing nice to say about Bush or this war. I'm sure each post has their own politics.
