Did I just hear Schultz say CNN had "Dead Wrong" last October

Ed was implying that CNN was scared even now on running this.

There's an email on the Daily Kos from Larry Johnson saying that CNN had taped his interview last FALL(!) and that they had everyone vet their own interviews to make certain they weren't taken out of context. He said they were very nervous about showing it and that they are trying hard. :shrug:

And, I agree, this would've impacted the election greatly. That's the kicker. I'm pleased with the story, but angry they sat on it.

A lot of things were missing, but if this show is that old and they didn't update it to a great extent, that would explain it. I'd say a follow-up is in order! ;)

So many have complained about the narration taking away from what the people were saying on the clips shown. If CNN updated some of the info., a voiceover was no doubt the quickest way to go without editing a great deal.

13. "This" is a program they ran last night called "Dead Wrong."

There are a lot of threads around on it, but basically the show revealed Bushco's "fixing" of the intelligence prior to the invasion of Iraq. Some people, who are too used to Mike Malloy's style of "expository journalism" think it was too soft on the Bushies. I think it was a bombshell.

Taped and ready to go. But they passed when they got their dick caught in a wringer over the TANG story. Suddenly expressed their discomfiture over "influencing the election". I'd hardly be surprised if CNN decided the same for the same sorry reasons, never mind the public's need for honest to God facts about these critical matters.

but they held it off until after the election because they feared it would be biased to release a damning story right before the vote. Ha! More like CBS didn't want to be Rathered again. I keep waiting for that story to come out but nothing so far. It's been a bunch of crap lately.
