Bush At 36% Approval, Nixon Was At 39% During Height Of Watergate...
<snip> George W. Bush’s overall job approval ratings have dropped from a month ago even as Americans who approve of the way Bush is handling his job as president are turning more optimistic about their personal financial situations according to the latest survey from the American Research Group. Among all Americans, 36% approve of the way Bush is handling his job as president and 58% disapprove. When it comes to Bush’s handling of the economy, 33% approve and 62% disapprove.

Among Americans registered to vote, 38% approve of the way Bush is handling his job as president and 56% disapprove, and 36% approve of the way Bush is handling the economy and 60% disapprove.

4. Probably nothing
Bush could murder someone live on air and he'd still pull 30%.

5. More like wake up that 6 percent
30 percent is his rock solid base. He won't go below 30 because at that point you're getting to the tried and true fascists who would support Bush if he shot a baby on the WH lawn and ate it.

3. Just in case anyone is wondering if the poll is biased
They showed Bush with 51% approval in Nov 2004, which I think is fairly consistant with other polls.

Oh - and 6% undecided. Guess which way that group is likely to head in the next couple of months.

Um, they're going to break for Kerry last Nov.?

I think so too. Its too bad scientific/historical patterns miraculously defied such logic that day. I don't think it was a 'miracle' though.
