It's like Eric Rudolph talking about women's right to choose. Lying motherfuckers.

3. Greenwashing my favorite!
BP Beyond Petroleum? yeah right.

Attack your opponents strength. These Oil companies deflecting criticism by greenwashing themselves. A glitzy greeenwashing ad campaign is a helluva lot cheaper than actually moving "Beyond Petroleum."

5. Chevron saving butterflies
British Petroleum "looking beyond petroleum".

Big oil is where Junior learned his ropes - just call everything the exact opposite of what it is. No one will think you had the gall.

6. BP's new flower logo
The one that gets me going is the false dichotomy "Do you want clean air or a car?" I want both, how about you?

8. Comcast -- focused on community.
Other than the oil companies I saw one that really got me fuming.

It was a girl talking really fast about how she turned to activism to prevent toxic dumping by a company, got the company closed, and then the community couldn't pay for medical expenses due to the toxins because they all lost their jobs which were working for that same company.

The gist: "skip activism, just donate to the local blood drive."

Like a nice, well behaved farm animal.

:grr:
