Anybody connected to Bernie Ward tonight?

I've tried Windows Media Player and RealPlayer and neither one will connect to KGO. Are they having a problem with the streaming AGAIN?

A couple of weeks ago, they had the same problem but it was on a weekend, and I called the station (FROM GEORGIA!) and asked if they knew they had a problem with their streaming. They said yes and it would be fixed on Monday...and it was.

What's the deal? I thought this was a fairly big station in Calif!

It is a very large 50,000 watt station. I've picked it up in Oregon, Reno, NV and Bakersfield, CA.

It's bad enough when I have to deal with internet outages because of storms. I shouldn't have to deal with the techs at a big station not doing their job too!

Last night they were having problems too. It wouldn't link to Windows Media Player at all and the link to RealPlayer was lost every 15 minutes or so. Why didn't they fixx this today????

12. Well, if you live there, would you please contact KGO and tell them

to get this fixed! As I posted above, I called a couple of weeks ago to tell them about the problem, and it was a weekend so they said it would be fixed on Monday. THIS IS MONDAY!!!!! What's their excuse now?

13. You might try hooking up through the archives.

Someone mentioned this as backdoor soultion to catching the program when the live stream was down. Just an idea and worth a try. Otherwise, I have to assume they know it's down, but it may be beyond their control to fix.

They may just roll over one hour blocks and you could catch the begining of the show. The freeper meltdown is about ten- fifteen minutes minutes into the program.

A-hole that sat in for the Gene Burns program tonight, that goes by the name of Bill Wattenburg, or Dr Bill "the smartest person in the world". He's the biggest asswipe know-it-all on the west coast and has a regular KGO slot on weekends that is just, well, just, well,...CRAP.

Sorry my idea didn't work, I guess they roll the entire program over to the archives, not one hour blocks as I hoped.

Cool, the KGO signal is directional so it shoots way up north and down south. I once caught the signal on a sailboat way down off the southern part of the Baja peninsula. Weak signal, but very clear.
