Bush Back in His Hidey Hole Today - Will Be Incommunicado >>>
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 07:46 AM by Stephanie

I think I get it. So "working vacation" means take eight days completely off, then give a quick speech, then take another day off. Is that it? What's he doing in there? Note he chose an unfinished resort for his vacation from his vacation - because he doesn't want any PEOPLE to be there, of course.

Monday's speech was the first of two Bush will deliver this week in an effort to build support for the conflict by reaffirming his commitment to help Iraq transition from tyranny to democracy and urging the public's patience with his policy. The second speech comes Wednesday when he speaks to military families in Nampa, Idaho.

After Monday's speech, Bush and his wife, Laura, flew to Donnelly, Idaho, where he was to spend Tuesday out of public view at the Tamarack Resort in the mountains 100 miles north of Boise.

the Tamarack Resort near Donnelly, Idaho, which is scheduled for completion in 2006.

1. Note that he's visiting a resort that's still under construction
Can't risk contact with any unscreened, unscripted human beings, now can we, Lil' Chimp?

5. HAH!
No, that whole "job site" thing might look a little bit too much like work to the Simian Dauphin. There's probably a secret marble-floored cabin off in the woods somewhere where he can stay.

4. I'm sorry, but that just conjures up a strong image
One of Saddam in a dirt hole. Now Junior is burrowing back into the earth, too. Fine by me. As long as it's not a nuclear (sorry, "nu-cu-lar") fallout shelter - because the implications of that are just too disturbing.

6. well they have been ranting on and on about the inevitable nuke attack
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 08:45 AM by Stephanie

that CIA guy on 60 Minutes the other night said it would happen sooner than later - maybe BushCO thinks now's the time - maybe it would allow Dick to nuke Iran. Just thinking out loud. Don't mind me. I just remember what happened to my town the last time George went into hiding for such a long time.

13. Someone who has something to hide?
Someone meeting with another, who doesn't want prying eyes?
Someone who is a liar and not metting there at all?
Someone who is in denial? (I don't believe that it's not finished! I want to go there NOW!)

I choose the last.

12. I'm inclined towards the worm description, myself
Particularly as the badger can be kind of cute. Worms most definitely are NOT. ;)

that a military mom could derail the president's vacation just by wanting to talk to him. Run away!

at bay. The "commander in chief" can heave a sigh of relief behind his walls and gates.

After all, Bush and the Oil Republicans need some peace and quiet to count up the MASSIVE PROFITS they are making because of the SKYROCKETING oil and gas prices.
