'Talking Points'-This would be a good idea for a radio show, and website.
The Idea is simple. The show merely focuses on whatever the Talking Point of the day is.

First, point out what it is. ("Valerie Plame was a desk jockey" etc.)

Then, like on "The Daily Show", have a montage of the usual suspects: Talk Radio hosts, Faux personalities, shrubco mouthpieces, all mouthing the talking point or phrase, over and over, in rapid succession. ("desk jockey desk jockey she was a desk jockey desk jockey")

Then maybe some discussion about the talking point, what it means, what are they trying to divert attention away from with this. ("Basically they are trying to divert attention away from the Bush Administration's actions 'outing' Plame, and the reason it was done, namely revenge against a whistleblower undermining the propaganda case for the Iraq invasion.")

Website would be good, because it could have these montages on file to click on, and all the old talking points would be archived for reference.

Whaddya think?

2. No, because those are actual ideas, essays. I'm talking about the kind of
'catchphrase du jour', typically used by the Right Wing, to try to hammer some simple concept into sheep.

Example:

http://rawstory.com/news/2005/Exclusive_GOP_talking_points_on_Rove_seek_to_discre_0712.html

"Cindy Sheehan is a tool of radical leftists/Michael Moore".

"Karl Rove was trying to discourage a reporter from writing a false story".

etc.

The whole idea behind the montages, like on the Daily Show, is to make the users of the talking points look ridiculous, and illustrate that they are being "dicated" to, by some (unseen?) "dictator".
