If my sister and I never accomplish another thing in our semi-professional protest careers (unlikely as we are just getting started), this trip to Crawford makes all of the "hard work" worth it!

What a weekend. I had the best time. I met a whole bunch of DUers. Great folks all! Sorry I missed some of you.

When we got home late last night, we decided to google our efforts. I knew that a Reuters photographer had taken a series of photos of that got picked up by yahoo news' big international photo round up (Thanks to left chick for posting!!!):

SEE TIE DYES LOOK GREAT AT A PEACE PROTEST (especially when they feature Bob Marley)!

So, we figured they may have made the rounds. Boy were we right. We fell out laughing when we clicked on this link:

and found a french news agency had put our shot in direct opposition to a snarling shot of Bush with a great write-up that rips the administration on the war issue. I have never seen anything quite as gratifying as that. Bush vs. Distressed American and Distressed Sis! Take that you Goliath sized pig boy!

Since those are Reuters shots they are probably in print around the world as well. Hard to know how much more iceberg lurks below the google surface.

I officially declare that WE BRING IT!

One additional note for this post: I have now officially "Dropped Trow" in a red state. Due to some difficulty making a hook-up to hand off some stuff, we were extremely late getting to security at the airport.

They had already closed the doors and were getting ready to go "wheels up". We were rushing through the TSA checkpoint. I have lost weight, so my shorts are pretty loose. My belt was in the X-ray. So, in the chaos my shorts just took a nose dive and I got to share the boxer brief clad ass with the assembled reds.

Thank you God for mooning them for me! Kiss it Crawford Coward!

17. Was Asked If We Could Direct Some On Sat Night. Met A Lot Of Folks!

We manned the main shuttle loading zone and gave folks parking directions. We did it for several hours as the non-camping Sat. crowd headed home. There were a ton of folks and I was loving the interaction. Everyone was very positive and upbeat. They all felt it in the air.

If all of us that can find a way to pitch in, this Junta is in big trouble.
