Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 12:46 PM by Stephanie

President Bush, right, leads a group on mountain bikes along a path near Lake Cascade State Park in Donnelly, Idaho, Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2005. President Bush arrived Monday in Donnelly, where he's due to spend two nights at the ski and golf resort that opened in December 2004. (AP Photo/Elaine Thompson)

1. And yet just a bit ago on teevee he wasn't sure he'd bike....
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 12:47 PM by Carolab
said he probably would, and "hadn't made his mind up yet" about fishing...

C'mon, George, we KNOW about the new bike trails there--and you were just itching to try 'em...

What a lame duck this a'hole is...

5. No closeups? Still looks Botoxed to me.
This picture and the one on the front page of the New York Times have him looking just a little different. Yesterday someone here posted comparison shots of Bush before the vacation and now, and the before shows deep ruts in his forehead. Is it the light, or has George had a little work done?

6. Not to nitpick, but...
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 12:58 PM by Rob H.
...that's Gov. Dirk Kempthorne with him in pic #3, not Dick Kempthorne. He may very well be a dick, but that isn't his name. C'mon, you yahoos at Yahoo!

(The only reason I know is because I lived in Idaho for 9 years. Thanks to two unbelievably shitty jobs I had while I was there it's not an experience I would care to repeat.)

Ah, my calender says Tuesday, Aug 23, 2005.

Also, didn't I see another thread that said the resort he's staying at isn't due to open until 2006? (Let me go look.)

17. Maybe we should send Bush on his bike into Afghan hills to look for Osama
Good grief. This is getting embarassing.

And I hear he plans to meet with pro-war gold star families while there.

22. MSNBC says Bush's biking buddy Lance Armstrong is under investigation
for using performance enhancing drugs in the Tour-De-France.

No wonder Lance was sucking up to the Chimp, he's probably looking for help from the state department.

(Sorry, "60" in ten month's).

Would his ego have a terrible collapse, or would he just throw one of his tantrums?
