Conservative radio host fired for anti-Islam remarks
WASHINGTON - Conservative radio host Michael Graham was fired Monday by a Washington station after he refused to apologize for calling Islam “a terrorist organization.”

WMAL-AM had suspended Graham after his July 25 broadcast drew protests from the Council on American-Islam Relations. Graham, who had a daily three-hour talk on WMAL, had said, “We are at war with a terrorist organization named Islam,” according to CAIR.

4. Let's hope it sticks.
One of the idiots (Mike Pintek) on KDKA in Pittsburgh made the following statement (paraphrased) just before lunch:

"Here's what I'm saying, because no one in the Muslim world wants to stop the Muslim terrorists from killing Americans or Israelis, they are complicit in their inaction. Therefore, all Muslims are terrorists."

That's like saying all Catholics are pedophiles since we didn't stop priests from molesting young boys. Or all white people support serial killers since the majority of serial killers are white.

Truly mind-boggling.

Now THAT'S good news! Hopefully it'll be a beginning in cleaning out
the rest of the raw sewage that plagues our airwaves.

6. About time someone called a RWer
on their constant use of over-generalizing hyperbole. They take a grain of truth and turn it into a field of lies. Someone should really teach them about VEN diagrams, maybe some syllogism

7. I can understand that.
After all, if I were to say "Because of the mix of Islamic theology that -- rightly or wrongly -- is interpreted to promote violence, added to an organizational structure that allows violent radicals to operate openly in Islam's name with impunity, Islam has, sadly, become a terrorist organization. It pains me to say it. But the good news is it doesn't have to stay this way, if the vast majority of Muslims who don't support terror will step forward and reclaim their religion," clearly I'd be condemning Islam per se.

8. How were his ratings?
Methinks if he was the top dog there he'd get a slap on the wrist; if he was at the bottom of the heap, the station decided to cut their losses and can him.
