I walked into my son's elementary school today. Proudly displayed was this new sign - "God Bless America."

Frack!

What can I do about this?!

Since it's not necessarily a religious expression (being the name of a song), it falls under the same pervue as "In God We Trust," and the Pledge of Allegiance w/ Under God.

IIRC, there's court precedence that will go against you.

maybe go in your own signs saying "Buddha bless America" and "Allah Bless America" and "Whatever wicker-based leaf-covered goddess fertility totem fetish thing Wiccans pray to bless America"

god bless all countries equally and people and animals and and and

really my boys and i see the absurdity in blessin this nation that is aready sittin in such blessing. and how silly is that to think god would bless one over another.

I have no clue whether "God Bless America" is a violation of church/state law, so I know for sure that AU can help you. It's best to know your options first before taking any action.
