I just don't understand the logic of moving her reactions out of Late Breaking News while leaving his in that category. It's just not consistent.

Cindy is a public figure and at this point, her reaction to his remark is certainly a news item. This sort of editorial decision by our moderators is why posting in LBN often just doesn't make sense to a lot of DUers.

If Casey Sheehan were a thin blonde chick lost in Baghdad there'd be media coverage nonstop. That's sad. If there is a God out there, we'll need their help in '06. to the public had they simply been paying attention.

I was against the idea of the war from the moment that the UN refused to authorize it. I knew going basically solo against the advice of the UN was a recipe for disaster. Then the wonderful backpedal from the UN being 'irrelevant' to needing the UN's rubber stamp on the US puppet government there. I saw that coming from a mile away too.

It's like Fahrenheit 9/11 - Michael Moore really didn't do a damned thing there. He didn't invent the stories out of thin air. The movie was a collage, like a college student's term project. Yet somehow that makes him the worst kind of evil to the fundies and neo-conartists. Personally, I like the guy. Even if I didn't, I'd have a soft spot for anyone bringing the truth out.

I'm no genius. I'm only 22 years old, and I'm still in college. I'm not a military advisor, a general, or even a politician. Previous to 2000, I wasn't even really all that interested in politics at all. I'd yell at the TV when ridiculous stuff happened or was said (which was/is a lot), but thats about it. I was really pissed I couldn't vote in 2000, by less than a week!

Believe it or not, I'm still registered Independent! Yet somehow I knew that if Gore didn't win the election the public was screwed. Why couldn't everyone else do the same? Why do they vote against their own best interests? grr I hate sheeple.

The gender issue here is huge. Afterall, he's being backed down, and slapped around BY A WOMAN. Doesn't play well in his crowd...Cindy is wonderful, she's sincere. I heard her on Ed Schultz (or another talk left show) a couple of months ago. Her description of meeting * was everything I'd expect. She had the ultimate "creep-out"--he's that bad, she says, just stares right through you, no tolerance for any questions, etc. Well, George, "She's Back" and "she's pissed off."

He can't bomb her, what will he do?
