you can be CERTAIN to miss all commercials (and news, which I don't like either) if you do this...it works EVERY time:

after they come on behind the top of hour news, wait til the first break...that's ALWAYS four minutes

then, at 28 after...always 28 after, there's a six minute break....ALWAYS

then, they go for ten minutes or so, til the next break, which is ALWAYS four minutes....


then, they stop at 58 minutes after the hour....ALWAYS

then, after an eight minute news/commercial break, the next hour begins

I promise you this works ALL the time: they have it computerized, with hard breaks at 28 and 58 after the hour. the other breaks are ALWAYS four minutes, almost to the second

I've been doing this for months, and it's SO satisfying!

I had the same attitude in business when I had to deal with unpleasant clientele. I learned from an associate to charge them a lot more than you do the clientele you like and if they are willing to pay it, take it for the aggravation.

or a music station when they come on and a couple of minutes later switch back. Their format is pretty standard and easy to figure out when they're out of commercial.
