Used to get him up in the Bayarea great... At least he's on at night. Daytime it's impossible here in SoCal (San Diego) to get a decent signal from KGO. And in the evening there are still many areas where there is significant dropouts, which gets annoying when you are driving around.

Go here for the lineups... The first two are the most relevant graphs. The last two were based on a pipe dream that Sirius might be able to get Randi and/or Mike Malloy away from XM/AAR since they haven't been carrying them. I think with Randi XM is soon rectifying that.

If I had my choice at that time slot, I'd be listening to Mike Malloy. If KLSD would stop idiotically throw Springer over Malloy's first two hours, I'd easily have that as my first choice then. But Alan Colmes on both XM and Sirius at that time now leaves me wanting. I actually like Burns sometimes a bit better than Colmes when he's talking about the war. Burns is Libertarian, and makes no bones about his distaste for the war. He was great to be able to listen to before I got Sirius and Air America came around. It was like night and day listening to him vs. someone like Laura Ingraham on KFMB (who was my only other night time drivetime choice in those days here locally but who I tried to avoid and drove me to get Sirius eventually). Pretty easily picked Burns instead then. I'd probably pick up Mike Newcomb or whoever they might put in opposite Colmes on Sirius's new channel, whoever they got (which would be someone like Mike Webb or Mike Newcomb in that one charge). That or I'll podcast during that time... Springer's OK, but not really my cup of tea.
