Robertson can openly suggest assassination, but YOU can't
YOU would be in jail RIGHT NOW if you'd said that on t.v.

1. Well, if prosecuted, Robertson's defense would be a simple one
"This is what JESUS told me, AWRIGHT? You have anything say,... say it to Him."

2. I think it depends more
upon who you said needed to be taken out. In this case, it is a man that Bushco tried to oust already. So there's diplomatic "horror" and Robertson goes on his merry way.

3. Can any prosecutor file charges against Robertson?
Since the speech aired nation wide, potentially, couldn't any prosecutor file charges against the bastard?

5. I say let the Right show just how crazy they are.
In no time at all they will bring this great country to it's knees. They have already made a good start. I guess that is what they want as the Right keep putting in these people. They have want they wanted. It is us that have to also pay the price that I do not like.

8. Is this in the official rules of the FCC?
Isn't it illegal to do this for anybody, even mention death threats on radio?

9. There are a lot of "terroristic" threats that originate from the RW...
... that never seem to come to the attention of the FEDS.

This is just one. The radio talk jock who ruminated about what it would feel like to kill Michael Moore is another.

Bill O'Reilly, who was quoted in a sworn affidavit as saying Al Franken would get a "knock on the door someday and his life would change forever", is another.

And what about the yahoo who fired a shotgun near the Cindy Sheehan vigil in Texas... in close proximity, it would seem,to the president?
