Cindy getting slammed on Huffington Post Comments

There must be some coordinated effort going on here....take a look at some of these comments....looks like all the Repub talking points are covered.

Cindy Sheehan is a nut. Yes, the Iraq war is being handled horribly. And Yes, I think it is finally time an American took a stand and protested President Bush's lack of planning. But the words coming out of her mouth extend way past the Iraq war. She is an extremist with an agenda, even if one of her agenda items happens to coincide with mine.

This isn't Viet Nam and all those young adults over there are volunteers. I have two 'kids'in the military and I respect the choices they make even if I don'tlike their career choices. If a policeman dies in South Central LA, his mother does not parade to the mayor wondering what her son was doing there. The officer chose his position.

I don't see how you can say such babble when this is not a draft, rather everyone who has died has chosen to join the military, knowing the risk, and they have done so for the good of our country. It's not like our great President came to your house, picked up your son, and sent him overseas. (more)

more and more it shows up these days...that conclusion that if a country or leader has oil that the usa wants...it is more and more acceptable for the media and for the public in the usa to view these countries and leaders as being a "threat" to the usa..now the word is threat..or potential threat...but so easily that will become an imminant threat...because..and only because that country controls the oil that the usa "needs" and that is very frightening..that if a country decides to sell its oil to some other customer and not the usa...it becomes reason and apparently becoming reasonable to conclude that country is an enemy of the usa and a threat to the welfare and security of the USA.

17. GOOP Goon Squad Talking Points...Watch Out For Them

Doesn't it seem like there's a lot of "military families" coming out the last couple weeks expressing "outrage" with Cindy or support for this regime's immoral invasion, yet we only see a handful...most with a Repugnican talk show minder nearby.

Lately I've heard a lot of "I've got two sons or five cousins or 25 illigitimate children in Iraq" calls...today on C-SPAN was a perfect example. All these calls play astroturf...using almost all the same points:

- Sheehan's a crazy woman.
- She's "aiding and abeting" the enemy (like Osama's watching everything??)
- She's controlled by "other elements" (Michael Moore, George Soros, Hillary Clinton...put your favorite hate target here)
- If you don't toe this regime's line, you're a traitor
- She's naive...none of us a are smart enough to understand what's going on.

Listen and see how often you hear these points come up. It's how the slime/spin machine works. The corporate media knows it...and plays off these points for its own financial gains and purposes...and this regime knows it can get a lie out and by the time it's proven to be a lie it's been spread so wide it'll never be properly debunked.
