1. How the hell can this be taken "out of context"?
"I don't know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it. It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war."

7. He also said...

"We have the ability to take him out and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don`t need another $200 Billion war to get rid of one strong arm dictator. It is a whole lot easier to have one of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."

Does this mean he's somehow against the war in iraq?

6. I've seen the clip on television...as have millions of others.
How can the Associated Press take a television clip "out of context"?

8. Typical right wing response
This is part of their play book. Oxy-Boy just did that with the remarks he make about Cindy. If you get caught making a crazy statement 1. Deny you made it & 2. Blame the 'liberal' media

9. The only way it could have been taken out of context
would be if the sentence that preceded that little fatwa of his was:

"Everything I'm about to say is the opposite of how I really feel and should be disregarded."

lying and like Bill Burkett. He now denies he ever said it, even though everyone had a copy of it. These RW nutcases are so out of contact with reality that it enver occurs to them that other people might still have some contact with it.

13. "out of context".
Hmm...let's see. What could Rogue-son mean? That he didn't think we should assassinate Chavez? I think it's pretty clear he thinks we should do it. Robberson went into detail about how we should "take him out".

I was at work yesterday afternoon. Someone turned on the news on the Internet. We all stood around and watched Raider-son talking. We all gasped at his comments. People were just standing there, shocked and stunned. Their mouths were hanging open. "Oh my God, he actually said that?" "Wow, unbelievable". "What a jerk".

Out of context?

14. not going to work..... read this
On Monday's broadcast of the "700 Club," Robertson, the founder of the Christian Coalition and a former Republican presidential candidate, said,

"If he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think we really ought to go ahead and do it. It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war. … We have the ability to take him out and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability."
