My jaw dropped to the floor last night when that Whore started her segment with the Robertson story.

I'm not sure about the first part. I think she said ,"Pat Robertson said he wanted to have Chavez assassinated, was that wrong or IS HE ON TO SOMETHING?"

I am getting ready to write and call CNN but I want the quote correct.

just mentioned that in another thread here ~ thanks for the transcript, I too thought I was hearing things.

She had three guests on the show, Bob Barr being one of them and he backed up Pat Robertson.

AIRC, Zahn went on to say give reasons why the US might in the future have to worry about Chavez ~ and talked about his disrespect for Bush etc. etc. I turned it off, couldn't believe they were even giving any credence to such outrageous, terrorist statements from that radical cleric!

I agree, emails condemning the show, now that I am sure I wasn't hearing things, should flood their inbox!!

Robertson said something that by almost anyone's moral standards is completely unacceptable. But cable news thinks profit lies in controversy, so even something as uncivil as Robertson's remark gets spun as "controversial" with two evenly matched and equally valid opinions.

So Bimbo McAirhead uses these empty-headed cliches "gone too far" and "onto something" to make it sound like this is just another one of those things that conservatives and liberals disagree over. The reality is that Robertson has once again not just crossed the line, but puked all over it. But CNN doesn't think it will sell to acknowledge that.
