Bush’s Latest Attack Against Cindy Sheehan (in Idaho)
Edited on Wed Aug-24-05 01:25 PM by RamboLiberal

Speaking in Idaho a few minutes ago, Bush argued that moms like Cindy Sheehan are a threat to freedom:

There are few things more difficult in life than seeing a loved one go off to war, and here in Idaho, a mom named Tammy Pruitt…knows that feeling six times over.

Tammy has four sons serving in Iraq right now with the Idaho National Guard — Eric, Evan, Greg, and Jeff. Last year, her husband Leon and another son Aaron returned from Iraq where they helped train Iraqi firefighters in Mosul.

Tammy says this — and I want you to hear this — “I know that if something happens to one of the boys, they would leave this world doing what they believe, what they think is right for our country. And I guess you couldn’t ask for a better way of life than giving it for something you believe in.”

America lives in freedom because of families like the Pruitts.

So why aren't the twins there?

Takes one to know one IMHO, and he knows most about direct threats to freedom and dangers to the US and Americans.

3. We fully expected the RNC to dig up mothers like
this...and yawn. Since she refers to them as "the boys" rather than "my boys" or "our boys" one could wonder just how much she knows about what they believe in. . .

They are in the Idaho National Guard. I highly doubt they joined expecting to go to Iraq - they more likely thought their tour of "duty" would involve fighting forest fires and actually serving the people of the state.

6. I'd bet...
she'd be singing a different tune when or if all her beloved ones are dead from this illegal war...America has been living in freedom long before this illegal war..that kind of b.s. just don't wash for shit.

8. Let's see how she feels if one of them ends up dead in Iraq.
The charade usually crumbles when reality sets in. She's not *yet* in a position to know the particular pain Cindy is suffering.

11. No kidding
It's easy to be sanctimonious when you haven't sacrificed anything yet(even though I'm sure when the camera is off,she worries)

9. Kinda of heartwarming to see **** squirm - shows me that Cindy
has alot more under control and he is afraid of it!

She's no threat to anyone's freedom...she is a threat to his oil game.

12. Isn't Lil George brave?
Lashing out at Cindy Sheehan through a surrogate from 1,500 miles away. Damn, George Sr. and Barbara, you two raised that boy just so, so wrong.

13. Clearly this family
believes the lies he told them. Cindy does not. When this family learns the truth, then lets ask them how they feel. I hope all their sons return safely.

And how would Bush know this? There are few things more difficult in life than seeing a loved one go off to war,

I'm assuming his daughters agree with Cindy Sheehan, that this war is not being fought for a noble cause?

They searched to find someone who had more people in Iraq than Cindy. His motive is so clear ~ 'use them in Iraq to accomplish your PNAC goals' and then, use them again in the US 'to save your rear-end when you can't answer a simple question about your reasons for this war'.

They are despicable. I hope the Pruitt family does not wake up until they are home safely. For those soldiers who are there who know the truth, it has to be incredibly difficult.

14. Clearly Bush isn't paying attention
to the thousands of people, especially military families coming together to support Cindy. They take one or two people who haven't lost their loved ones and we don't even know are for real or actors and put them out there to express HIS views.

Open your eyes, Bush! Cindy has more support, much more, than you'll ever muster up. You still haven't answered the question.

WHAT IS THIS NOBLE CAUSE OUR TROOPS ARE DYING FOR?
