I love AAR. And I would rather listen to Commercials on AAR than return to the time, barely over a year ago, when I could have searched the dial and would not have heard a word of truth.

GO AAR!!! And I'm so glad that so many feel it is worthwhile spending the money to advertise there. That shows how they are growing. Maybe the same old hate radio lying formula has had its day and that's why it has fewer ads?

Let's be realistic. "Far left" radio could not make it commercially in this country. It would have to be supported by donations. Perhaps some of the angst should be channeled into building that kind of radio station.

there's one show every once in a while that just doesn't interest me, or Al is ranting about some subject I just don't care to hear about, I switch to Thom Hartmann.

It's like people screaming about how they hate to listen to Rush! I can't tell you how many times I've posted "Why in the hell do you listen?"

There's FINALLY some choices of Dem radio programs to listen to! Make your choice and quit bitchin!

That's the ONLY alternative?! Very interesting choice. Personally, if necessary, I'd listen to one of the countless other channels on the radio. I'd turn off the radio, open all the car windows in 100F+ heat, and listen to traffic before I'd listen to Faux. Heck, I'd PLAY in traffic before I'd listen to Faux!

I bought Sirius radio last fall just for AAR, and I loved every minute of it until they pulled the damn plug on 7/11/05. I occasionally listen to AAR streaming, but that is not always adequate.

I did quit listening to him for a long time but decided to give him another chance.....

I never complain about Randi....she's pretty good ...sometimes she doesn't "get" the point that the caller is trying to make but when you move (mentally) as fast as she does you're bound to miss something.

and even though sometimes I disagree or get angry with some of their right wing guests or those who are more controversial, I think it is a good thing to have these people on. Otherwise they would simply be preaching to the choir. For example, I sometimes find Al Schultz grating, but he is reaching an audience of people who might be able to be swayed, or to think a bit differently. So, sometimes I turn him off, but I think he serves a purpose.
