Just waiting for indictments; I doubt there will be anything to update until Fitzgerald is done.

5. Status

DSM -- Cindy isn't dropping the topic. It's connected to the Rove affair as well. It ain't gonna go away.

Rove -- Fitz and grand jury are still investigating, gathering data, strengthening their case, and waiting for the appropriate moment to pull the trigger. That may be a wait for a change in the political environment. (Issuing sealed indictments against Chimp and Crashcart won't do any good if the Repug Congress won't raise a finger to follow through.)

Torture Photos -- Chimpster is losing all court battles. They're coming.

Cindy -- is back at Crawford.

6. if they are waiting for a change in political climate, that is bad

for two reasons

1-- e-voting machines will ensure the political climate will not change

2-- Fitzgerald's term expires in October and he won't be resinstated

You've got the Pres/Veep by the short hairs in a conspiracy and cover-up which makes Watergate look like child's play. The Repugs hold Congress so tightly that releasing indictments is not likely to trigger the appropriate hearings, etc. so that Pres/Veep can be held to account.

What do you do?

BTW, Fitzgerald can keep his job in Oct if he's retained. I don't think Chimpy risks an October Night Massacre. If the public smells a rat, they'll turn against him on that issue, too.

But I do not think Fitz is going to wait until Oct. I think recent events have done what he needed. Iraq is going to hell in a handbasket. People are pissed about gas prices. Chimpster's approval is diving deep, never to rise again. The time may be ripe.

Fitz very well announce something soon. I have my ear to the radio every Friday morning, which is the day of the week I think he'll spill the beans.
