Poll question: As the M$M Whips America into a Frenzy almost inciting Civil War
Edited on Wed Aug-24-05 07:34 PM by KoKo01
Where do YOU stand in this M$M Frenzy to suddenly get on top of Bush's falling Polls and the push to get out the info that those in the M$M were complicit in getting us involved in Iraq Invasion and Deficit and all the rest of the Bush Family Crimes?

3. What about NPR?
National Public Radio? Granted, it seems the Republicans in Congress are blackmailing them to have nothing but neocons on, but the reporting is still ok, mostly.

5. Corporate Owned Media = SALES PITCH That is all they are about
selling whatever BRAND OF REALITY pays them to broad-cast. Government, corporate sponsor, what the fuck ever. It's all the same crap. They manipulate you to give them a) your attention, b) your confidence and c) your money.

Don't give them any of it except shit.

TIME TO START PROTESTING THE NETWORKS AND THEIR LOCAL AFFILIATES.

6. I only watch when the picture are important, like 9/11
they are less guarded in the moment of a catastrophe, but the more calm things get, the more worthless their coverage.

7. Really?
Wow, I've been out of touch for the last two days, and the media capitulates - and implicates itself in our involvement in Iraq?

Does that mean that next week Rita Crosby will be replaced by Amy Goodman? Wouldn't that be sweet?

9. Well,. I wouldn't go that far...but they are including "Bloggers" and some
dissenting opinions although it's couched in "sneering against Liberals."

Still..there's been a minor change.

Your post was a good funny, though...:D In that "how much of a change is REAL CHANGE.

10. Even the biggest storm - starts with a small shift in the wind
so I guess that any change is real change.

And yeah, I'm a sarcastic curmudgeon. But I would so like to see Amy have a show in the MSM.

Although I almost can't watch her. She has a very classic radio style of presenataion - and our only local TV news anchor has the exact same style - everytime I hear either of them I imagine them being married.

wow - that was too much of a look into my very twisted mind....
