There was no way to tell they were soldiers. It appears to have stemmed from the fact that one of the soldiers girlfriends threw a hotdog at one of the assailants after being groped by the jerk.

I didn't like the reporting of the incident...the reporter kept mentioning Iraq and the fact that they were soldiers...over and over and over again...I don't see how them being soldiers had anything to do with what really happend.
