In "American Pie" Don McLean noted the "Father, Son and Holy Ghost took the last train for the Coast" with consternation of the Catholic faith going commercial.

Today the Evangelicals have gone to commercial ad conman (and to sociologists, lyngists, think tank wonky wankers) to develop a long-term mind fuck that does nothing for their religion's goodness. Their aim is to complete the dumbing down of the Mass masses for control and submission by the Right Wing.

These guys are good because here we are talking about the most unlikely of things: Intelligent Design...like it has merit. It is based in faith God damn it. Science is not faith! It is as best we can ascertain of how the Cosmos works and accept that it does because it is, not how some invisible, untouchable thing, that strains you to "just believe", "have faith" and you shall live forever rot.
