Latino/Hispanic forum second try

This is my second attempt at gauging interest in forming a Latino or Hispanic forum. My first try netted exactly 3 replies of which 2 were from the same person. Now I'm told that DU currently has 77,000 members and I find it hard to believe that there are just 2 of us out there. What is happening in this country and in Iraq affects the Spanish speaking community as well as all Americans. We have the same fears and hopes as anyone else in American. We have alot to offer DU and the Democratic Party. We need to organize just like everyone else to take back our country. So lets hear it damas y caballeros.

Where are my fellow Boriquas the Chicanos,
Costa Riqueños,Cubanos,Panamenos,Dominicanos, our brothers and sisters in Venezuela,Nicaragua. Talk to me people!!

14. Remember.. lots of members here stick to certain forums...

I mean.. :shrug: I surf around between GD/Politics, GD, the Alaska section, and occassionally the lounge..

But without posing the question about new members to quite a few of the forums here.. it would be near impossible to truly gauge the interest.

Some people seem to never come out of the lounge!! :beer:

Sometimes I cruise into forums like the sports section or voting rights section, and it's like WOW... I've never met any of them-- ever :wow:

It's like trying to round up bb's on a glass coffee table to get all the DU'ers at once!! :crazy:

...So yeah, I think you should pose this question at LOTS of different DU forums here for the ultimate best results!

I hang in GD, sometimes slum it up in the Lounge, and keep an eye on LBN.

Actually, it's not even that premeditated. I just hang in the Latest Discussion Threads and post to whatever catches my eye. It just turns out that the threads in GD catch my attention more than the others.

The flaw in my system is that I rarely follow a thread for more than two days.

If there's something of utmost importance that needs polling from latinas, just PM me and get my attention.

First... the "Viva Bush" stickers have to go... That is the dumbmest thing I have ever seen...

20. I have yet to see an actual Latino around here with a "Viva Bush" sticker

and I'm in Tucson Az.

But I HAVE seen tons of those stupid stickers slapped on the minivans of white soccer moms and off road vehicles of preppies who are about as Latino as Jeb Bush though.
