They are expanding services to Virginia and Maryland. I think it is a good move.

Bethesda is the Navy's. Instead of spending 3-500 million to being WRMC to modern specs, they are moving it to Bethesda and Ft. Belvoir in Virginia. Everyone who knows anything about it thinks it's a good move, actually.

If they are making things more comfortable for the patience then good, I just don't want our wounded to be short-changed (not that they haven't already BIG TIME,but I wish them no further insult).

Most of Walter Reed's work would be relocated to a more modern, expanded hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, that will be renamed Walter Reed in a nod to the old facility's heritage.

11. how would you like to be in a 100 yr old

medical building? when i go to a medical facility i like them new and shiny with the latest designs and equipment. most important is that the staff has the most modern facility to work in.

will have 150 more beds than Walter Reed and Bethesda combined currently.

The new facility will be named Walther Reed National Medical Center.
