Just trying to be practical. I don't think a Cindy forum is a bad idea. Do you? Filling up the greatest page with threads JUST BECAUSE they are about Cindy isn't a good enough reason. If they're great, they should make it to the greatest page. If they're not... well, they shouldn't. Why don't you ask for a Cindy forum? Then everybody will have one place to go to find everything they need to know about Cindy, et. al., without having to manipulate the greatest page to do it.

10. There seems to be some sort of misunderstanding here.

One, I didn't realize you were talking about your compilations of Cindy threads. I thought you were asking people to nominate ALL Cindy threads for the greatest page. Two, don't you think it would be easier on you to have a Cindy forum? Of course, I don't know, if Skinner would make one, but you could ask.

I don't know why you're getting so touchy about this. My beef has nothing to do with "Cindy threads" per se, and especially not your compilations. My beef is with people just nominating anything and everything for the greatest page for reasons other than the fact they are great. One day there was a lounge thread about some guy saying he was going to get a penis ring, or some such thing, on the greatest page! People thought it was funny to nominate it.

Typically, when I come to DU, I visit two forums - LBN and The Greatest. I love reading Great threads - not crap. And, I'm NOT saying Cindy threads are crap. I love reading the great ones, believe me. They make me feel like I was there. But, there is a lot of crap on the greatest page, or there was, until they raised the minimum to five votes. Obviously, I'm not the only one who thought the greatest page was getting filled with junk. Again, NOT saying your compilations are junk. They are actually pretty nice - even great - but EVERY Cindy thread is not great and that's the point I was trying to make. I didn't realize you were asking people to nominate your compilations. I misunderstood.

No one wants the Cindy information segregated to a forum that people can't easily find.

She is only going to be at Camp Casey a few more days. I will be reporting until the end of that time.

The threads are like an annal of the entire event--chronologically ordered in a way none of our memories could have done. Using DU's search function all day wouldn't retrieve all those links either.

No one has asked you to read, participate in or comment on my actions. The fact that you won't let it alone speaks volumes.
