After months of hesitating--I just sent a donation to Chuck Pennacchio

As much as I bash the beltway Democrats -- I found that many times I end up accepting their line on "win-ability". Now if Bob Casey does win the Democratic Primary next May, I certainly will support him and probably send him a donation at that time. Whatever his failings--Santorum must be defeated -- talk of a dangerous lunatic -- Some have suggested that he is Carl Rove's favorite for 2008.

But Chuck is a REAL progressive. And he can give Pennsylvanians a STRONG reason to show up to the polls in 2006 and vote. Furtghermore, the primaries are the one chance to raise the progressive flag and make our self heard. If not now, when?
