Getting some serious squalls in Miami-Dade right now

I have a grandfather in Stuart - he survived everything last year and I hope this year is not as bad.

3. We have had some strong bands up here in Central Florida.

The last one came up all of a sudden, and I heard a scraping sound. A gust had picked up a picnic type table on our back patio and moved it across the yard. Just rainy now.

Heavy heavy rain blowing horizontally into the windows.

Many trees linbs down in the street.

FPL says over 350,000 without power right now, many more expected.

5. I'm right smack in the middle of this thing. Direct hit.

Limbs down everywhere. Electricity will be probably be lost soon. It's 6:15 PM now and the worst of it is supposed to hit in the next few hours. The squalls are getting louder and louder.

I'm about an hour north of Miami.

Be safe everyone is South Florida. It's not a really big one, but it can do a lot of damage. Flooding is supposed to be the worst of it. But, you never know with these things.
