1. By all the defintions

everyone has suffered in the long run, but according to the crumbling pyramid vision imposed on unsustainable reality. Pyramids appear stable by the unreal flat earth as foundation theory reintroduced into economic fantasies of the Right. The vertical and the horizontal axes are both false in the real, round world. Hard numbers and the progress of relative decline are not as meaningful in that context. The "eat drink and be merry" crowd are doing very well so long as they avoid ruin or jail or enveloping cataclysms.

In truth, no one benfits, all are ruined, the rich are spiritually and mentally degraded, The poor as always have heroism and despair thrust upon them without benefit of simple truth.

Bushco is part of the axis nexus of true evil. Too bad things have to be so crazy and dramatic. It would be simple matter to chain Satan for a thousand years by putting about a thousand people behind bars.

3. Definitely a MAJOR net loss. But some things that I KIND OF like...
Edited on Thu Aug-25-05 06:21 PM by IanDB1
1) The anti-telemarketing law (sucks, but good enough for now).

2) The anti-spam law (sucks VERY MUCH) but good enough for now.

3) Lifting the assault weapons ban. That might come in handy on November 3rd, 2008.

4) I got me my two hundred dollars! I'm gonna buy me a hammock!

4. The oligarchy (1-2 percent) benefits enormously. The rest of us...
are victims: higher prices, lower wages, fewer jobs, no social safety net -- eventual homelessness and starvation our inescapable fate. What we are witnessing is the infinitely malevolent, deliberately savage reality of capitalism now stripped of all disguises.
