Just like letting someone destroy themselves with alcohol without trying to intervene to help them stop. It's easier (and more profitable in this case) to just let them continue on their current path. In the case of bushco*, it is the entire takeover of a once democratic republic. Goodbye Democracy, Hello dictatorship.
